Winter Shows 2011

Now that the summer shows are coming to an end, don’t forget that there are a few fat stock shows coming up. At the winter fair held at Stafford last year we had some lovely Berkshire forward from Mr & Mrs Ashcroft who did very well and it was great to see the breed represented at the show.

It would be great to see more entries this year and it is great to have a go at showing a different way, also you don’t have to sell if you don’t want to.

At the show we also have a competition and workshop for the Junior Club which is going from strength to strength. So if you can’t bring pigs why not bring your young members to compete it’s great to see them all improving and enjoying learning more about the different breeds and how to show at a fat stock show.
