I arrived at the Show on late Friday evening and unloaded the three pigs I had brought, and caught up with other friends who had already arrived. This is a very sociable show, and on the first evening about 12 of us went to a local pub for a very good meal, and on Saturday evening the Show put on a Stockman's Supper in one of the marquees to celebrate the Centenary of the show.

The morning of the show dawned bright and sunny. The judge for the day was well-known Large White / Hampshire breeder, John Millard, who as usual wore one of his trademark Union Jack ties, and very colourful he looked too! The excellent commentary was given by Nick Hunkin.
