Junior Pig Club Hatfield Report

Hatfield was a great show this year and thanks to all that made it a success. The new formed Junior Pig Club went very well after a few teething problems but I know all the kids had a great time.

We had a treasure hunt which nearly all the kids took part, it was great seeing them buzzing around working as a team. Then we had a BBQ with apple dunking which was great fun, next year they want to make this into a competition so this might be one to watch. We hope now to go from strength to strength with the club and have a lot of new ideas ready for next year. We will be holding different competition throughout the year so if anyone has any ideas we would love to hear from you. We also had some new faces Eve and Charlotte Ashcroft were at Hatfield and I know they had done a few shows near home so hopefully we will see more of them next year.

The Berkshires did well at Hatfield especially Mr & Mrs Westron’s lovely January boar so well done to them.
