Changes to the Club Committee
As you will see from the Minutes of the AGM in April the Club has some changes to Committee Office holders with Sharon Barnfield taking over as Chairman . A number of Regional representatives have also been appointed and a full list with contact details will be on the Berkshire website shortly. I will be remaining as Newsletter editor for the time being and am very honoured to also have been elected as President, following in the footsteps of David Webb. We are all very much indebted to David for his hard work and commitment to the Berkshire Club over many, many years.

Great Yorkshire Show
Dave Shaw (\/ice Chair), Ron Fieldhouse (07708 302498) and Mark Horsley (07716 229124)(RegionaI Representatives) are looking forward to seeing as many members as possible on Tuesday 14th˜ July at the Show. Berkshire classes are on that day and hopefully we will have a get

Veterinary & Butchery Workshop
Sunday 25*** October 2009 10.30am at Glebe Farm, Fosse Way, Ashorne Warwick, CV35 9AE by
the kind invitation of Christine Coe

This comprehensive workshop aims to cover many aspects of Pig-keeping and breeding, and the production of Berkshire meat products.. Speakers will include a specialist Pig Vet and a butcher and time will also be devoted to the needs of newcomers to pig rearing.
